Description
The MEDIT's Super Thin Micro Borescopes are cost-effective, simple devices that inspect tiny areas and machined parts.
With diameters starting from 1.0mm (0.04") and a working length up to 1500 mm (59") these scopes cover a wide range of industrial applications.
The super-thin borescope's body features fiber optics for image transition. The bigger the diameter of the probe, the higher the resolution of the image since there are more fibers and more light coming into the probe. The images seen in the captures are made with ImagePRO USB 3.0, and the actual image resolution, if looking through the eyepiece with the naked eye, will be higher since there is no camera processing the signal.
Thanks to the refined fibers and fused pixels in the image bundle, these fiberscopes create quality images of the inspection area. The integrated lenses with 45° FOV (field of view) decrease image distortion. The sheath of the insertion probe is waterproof and can be submerged to complete some underwater inspections.
The MEDIT's micro borescopes are available with flexible or semi-rigid insertion probes for different applications.
The universal eyepiece connects easily to c-mount video cameras (for example, our ImagePRO USB or ImagePRO HDMI) to document your inspections.
Light post connections include ACMI, and STORZ adaptor thread, so these units can be used with almost any light source, portable LED light handles, halogen, metal halide (recommended for large inspection areas), or xenon.
