MiniFlex 2 36mm offers a 1.4-inch self-leveling camera head that keeps the image on the display upright, giving you more accurate, easy-to-understand insight during inspections. Integrated into the camera head and protected from damage is a slope-measurement sensor that displays the camera head's inclination on the monitor. To pinpoint the camera head, a 512Hz sonde beacon is integrated into the camera and helps locate the exact location of damage or blockage in the pipe.
Hidden inside the unit is the 115ft (35m) cable, which allows the camera head to be pushed out in straight runs as well as through bends and elbows. Integrated into the system is a meter counter that conveniently measures the amount of unspooled cable, providing valuable information about the pipe length or the distance of the blockage down the pipe. The push cable connects to the camera head via a unique rubber neck, rather than the regular spring-type connection, and serves as the connector between the camera and the monitor.
The 8-inch monitor display combines several functions into one and allows real-time viewing of the inspection, recording of video/picture/audio, and overlaying text over the footage, for plotting key notes during the inspection.
All the components of the drain camera unit are housed in a compact, portable protective case that weighs only 24lb (11 kg). The case offers a handle for easy carry and four rubber protection pads on the corners. If needed, the camera can be used lying or slightly elevated with a metal prop.

In most cases, yes — that is its signature job. A commercial builder used the MiniFlex to inspect piping below 400 installed toilets after two RIDGID cameras and two borescopes failed to make the bends. However, certain toilet models have specific geometries that prevent any camera from passing through.
Yes. The patented Flexi-Tube neck of the 19mm model lets the head articulate through the trap geometry in 1¼″ (32 mm) PVC or through multiple 90° bends in 1½″ pipe. Pipe condition affects this — heavy scale, non-PVC material, or collapsed sections can limit camera access, so we state it plainly: maneuverability is condition-dependent.
A 512 Hz sonde is built into the camera head. It works with any standard 512 Hz receiver, including most RIDGID SeekTech models, Schonstedt, and Snaptrack we stock. That lets you mark the head's position behind walls, under slabs, or in the yard before you cut.
