The Image PRO USB 3.0 Camera is entirely portable and ready to use, with only one USB cable to connect it to a computer. These units feature a 1080p HD resolution chip and a 1.9 M(6.2ft) flexible cable.

This compact addition to the borescope of choice allows you to visualize the image on the monitor for right-on-spot assessment or capture. Instead of you looking down into the eyepiece of the borescope, the ImagePro USB 3.0 clips directly onto it and transfers the image right onto the screen.

ImagePRO USB 3.0 facilitates a multi-team consultation during inspections and is a great addition for engineers and inspection stations. During use, the white balance can be changed using the auto-white balancing function on the camera body. While the camera features an HD chip, the picture's output quality relies on the diameter and type of the scope used. Check out the captures above to see the final output resolution.

The camera connects to the scope with an optical coupler that is used to focus in or out during the inspections. When ordering, choose the correct size of the coupler for the diameter of the borescope. The Coupler connects to any 32mm borescope or fiberscope eyepiece. Focal ranges available: 14mm, 18mm, 28mm, and 35mm. The larger the focal length, the higher the zoom level and distortion on the image sides

In general, I am extremely satisfied with both the product and the support team

The endoscopic camera comes in a really solid and comfortable case. After opening the case, you will see three parts of an endoscope: USB (or HDMI) wire, optical coupler, and the camera itself. The camera has a cylindrical shape, just as seen in the pictures; it is very ergonomic and tiny (much more comfortable than those I had before). The optical coupler looks really durable, composed fully of solid metal (the only plastic part is the optical aperture cover on the back). The frontal aperture is covered with a tightly placed metal cap. Fixation of both covers and endoscopes is really fast; there is no way it falls off by itself or unintentionally. The USB wire is spiral and pretty long, it looks reliable, and I think it will last for a long time.

Picture quality and other features: This camera provides a really nice, smooth picture. White balance works automatically (I think it depends on the software). It works perfectly fine with the camera app on Windows and with many other webcam software that I tried. Please be sure which optical coupler you need (because it depends greatly on the endoscopes that you are using); in case you are not sure or don't know, ask the support team. They are really nice and kind. Also, they respond really quickly (that was a pleasant surprise for me). In general, I am extremely satisfied with both the product and the support team, and yes, I would recommend it to a friend.

Q; Do you like the ImagePRO-USB you bought from Fiberscope.net? Why?

A; We do like it. The only problem is it doesn’t stay centered and/or straight on our eyepiece, so one side of the picture/video is round. Maybe that’s just because we have a different borescope than indended for? We have a Hawkeye borescope that we use it with. Other than that, it is very easy to use, it focuses well and takes good video/pics.

Q: What kind of application you use it for?

A: We connect the camera to our borescope to record what we are seeing. Our field of work deals with automobile product liability cases. So far we have used the borescope to look inside seat belt buckles, but possibly intend to use it for seat recliners as well. It is good to record what we see to use as evidence.
