Universal Borescope Video Coupler
Description
Universal Borescope C-Mount Coupler acts as a connection between the borescope eyepiece and the camera body. Two types of C-mount Couplers are available: the Olympus Coupler that connects to a screw-on Olympus eyepiece and the regular clip-on Universal Coupler that snaps onto any of the 32mm borescope eyepieces. Both couplers have a C-mount thread on one end and an eyepiece attachment on the other. These optical adaptors feature integrated focusable rings that allow the operator to focus on a specific area and have a clear and crisp image. Different focus ranges are available: 22mm and 27mm for the Olympus Coupler and 14mm, 18mm, 28mm, and 35mm for the Universal Coupler. The main difference between them is that the 35mm coupler significantly expands the image on the screen, making the center of the image bigger but distorting the edges. The 14mm coupler makes the image significantly smaller and eliminates the distortion. For most applications, we recommend a 28mm coupler, which balances the distortion and the size of the image.
