Its rugged 45 mm IP68 stainless-steel camera head and 13″ HD display make deep vertical inspections clear, efficient, and easy to document.

Use our motorized solution for inspecting boreholes, shafts, wells, and other vertical structures that require a visual assessment to determine the cause of the blockage or detect a leak, corrosion, or damage. This camera system is equipped with a motorized winch instead of a manual one that eliminates the operator from manually winching it up or lowering it down. The STRAHL HD motorized downhole camera system is made out of three main parts: the camera head, the winch with reel, and the control monitor.
The camera head features two camera heads, with one of them looking straight down and the other one looking to the side with the ability to rotate around and have a 360-degree view. Live footage is captured and sent to the display monitor for real-time assessment or recording. The camera head is sealed to resist pressures up to 30 bars and still operates under those conditions.
The motorized reel system houses a cable length of 200M (656ft) and is powered by a AC110V-230V. The reinforced flexible cable connects to the camera head with a special waterproof connection and has a diameter of 8mm.
The control monitor of the downhole unit offers a real-time look into the bore and facilitates audio, photo, and video recording and text overlay, which is helpful in saving footage during the inspection for later assessment or comparison. The display screen has a size of 8" and is integrated into the control box that houses all the components inside.
