The H7 is a portable inspection system for conducting visual inspections in drain lines, sewer laterals and building drains from 2 inches to 10 inches in diameter. This inspection system can be used for blockage assessment, root and crack detection, locating problem areas before digging, and confirmation of pipe repairs.
The monitor is built into the reel: a 7" impact-resistant LCD that is daylight-readable at 1,000 cd/m², with physical control buttons. Video (MPEG4, H.264 at 30 fps) and JPEG screenshots record to the 64GB internal drive, to a USB stick, or both, with pause, playback, fast-forward and rewind on the unit. If the battery runs low, the H7 saves the recording automatically before it powers down. Wi-Fi is standard, so the live image can also be streamed to a phone or tablet for a client or second technician.
The H7 is offered with two self-leveling camera heads. The 1.23" head runs on a 0.400" push rod and passes 90° elbows from 2", for lines up to 6". The 1.43" head runs on a 1/2" push rod for lines from 3" to 10". Both camera heads have a built-in 512Hz sonde for locating the head from above ground, and Line Trace is standard for tracing the push rod's path. The reel has a footage counter in feet or meters with reset, and the system is powered by 18V Milwaukee batteries or equivalent, or by the included 12V AC/DC adapter.
